Shop: My Online Shopping Secrets
Over the years, I have learned some tricks about shopping online. Today, I want to share these secrets because, who does not love to save some money?
1. If you like traveling too, I suggest creating a free account in for example, JetBlue's TrueBlue. Each time you travel, you accumulate points which you can redeem on a future ticket. The points never expire. Sadly, even though you may gather enough points to buy a ticket, you always have to pay for the taxes, which is not too bad. TrueBlue also has a Badges program which I recommend you activate. Every time you get a new badge, you also get points you can use to purchase a ticket. Some badges are extremely easy to achieve, especially those in the Loyalty category in which you get points just for sharing them on your social media. JetBlue also has ShopTrue. Before hitting that "Purchase" button, look for the store you are going to purchase from in their list, click on "Shop Now" and it will redirect you to the store's site where you will get rewarded with more points after the purchase is finalized (no code necessary). Finally, JetBlue will refund the difference (in credit form) of any ticket that has lowered in price within two weeks after you purchased it. The best part is this credit is only one call away at 1-800-JET-BLUE! Other airlines probably have similar programs to these from JetBlue, so be on the lookout! (Yes, I do travel a lot with this airline!)
Now on to REAL shopping.
2. Subscribing to most site's e-mailing list for the first time will almost always guarantee you some type of discount.
3. You can find some coupons or promo codes online by searching on any search engine you prefer. I usually head straight onto RetailMeNot because their coupons always work for me. They also have a phone app.
4. If you have any rewards memberships, now is the time to use them in case you have any accumulated points or to accumulate more with the purchase you are about to finalize.

5. Lastly, do not forget to give back. Like I said before, I like helping others. If you like purchasing on Amazon, you can donate without having to invest! Just enter http://smile.amazon.com, choose your preferred charity and click on "Select and start shopping" and Amazon will donate them a percent of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchase after it is finalized.
I hope these tips and tricks help you save money on your future purchases so you can later splurge that money you saved!
