Upgrading Old Clothing Items
When you reach that point in time when you no longer want to wear an item because you have worn it forever and for everything, but it still is in good condition, it is time to revamp it! This is how I change my clothing to hide the fact that it is the same item that is so comfortable but I got tired of using.
2. With the t-shirt on a hard flat surface, press the razor against the newly-cut lines to open up those cuts. Now the cuts will seem like circles instead of lines.
3. Keep cutting more lines and distressing the t-shirt. Remember to do so onto the sleeves, collar, and trims too.
4. You may also pick at the cuts with tweezers to add more texture and variety to the look.
5. Keep going until you achieve the desired look and you are done!
2. After removing the jeans, cut a straight line where you previously measured. Remember to fold or even placing something inside may help you not cut right through the back of the jeans. Also, be sure to not cut up to the side seams, as natural wear and tear may occur over time.
3. With the jeans on a hard flat surface, press the razor on top of the newly-cut lines to open up those cuts and use the tweezers to pick at the newly cut lines to give it a more distressed look.
4. You may continue to do some more (probably smaller) cuts on other parts of your jeans if you wish to distress them even more.
5. Enjoy a "new" pair of jeans!
What will you be altering? What ever you choose, enjoy wearing it and wearing it and wearing it again!
