Heatless Curls

by - 4/29/2020

I get many questions as to how I curl my hair. After many years of trying to curl my hair for almost an hour with a curling iron and then having my curls last about five minutes, I came upon these Conair Spiral Curlers and my life changed from that moment on. It only takes me a few minutes to curl my hair now and better yet, the curls last more than 24 hours!

1. Start off by parting your hair half up and half down.

2. Part the bottom half again into two halves and place each to opposite sides of your neck.

3. Part one half once more.

4. Wet your hair with a spray bottle or you can also use your fingers. The wetter the hair is, the longer the waiting time. I suggest only dampening it.

5. Comb through and wrap the curler around the hair.

6. Fold the ends. Be sure to catch the ends of your hair.

7. Keep on parting your hair into pieces, dampening, combing, and applying the rollers. The smaller the pieces, the better defined the curl will be.

8. After applying the curlers to all your hair, I suggest waiting about 45 minutes, but it all depends on how damp the hair is and how long you usually wait for your hair to dry.

9. Once you feel your hair dry, you can start removing the curlers carefully.

10. After removing all the curlers, break the curls with your fingers into even smaller pieces for a more natural look. You can now use hairspray if you would like and... enjoy your curls!

P.S. I prefer curling my hair the day before I have a special event so that they are less tight and look more natural. I hope this helps you out, especially if you have the same problem as I did, or if you want curls without all the damage caused by curling irons or heating tools.
